    Virgil William, son of Henry and Anna (Friedman) Seyller, was born on October 4, 1911 on the family farm southeast of Templeton. He attended country school through the 8th grade and Sacred Heart High School in Templeton, where he graduated in 1931.

    After graduating Virgil continued to work on the familys farm. When his parents passed away he inherited the farm and continued to farm the land until his retirement in 1964.

    In his spare time, Virgil enjoyed watching movies, visiting with friends and neighbors at the Templeton Corner Station and talking about farming and cars. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Templeton.

    In April 2007, Virgil became a resident of the Manning Plaza Nursing Home. He died there on May 9, 2009 at the age of 97 years, 7 months and 5 days.

   Virgil was preceded in death by his parents.

  He is survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
