Terri Lyn Dammann was born March 4, 1973, the son of Carol Dammann in Manning, Iowa. He grew up in Manning and graduated from Manning Community High School with the class of 1991. He continued his education at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. After completing his education Terri moved to Norfolk, Nebraska, where he was employed by the Great Dane Trailer Company. He worked there for two years before returning to Denison where he was employed by local carriers as a truck driver. In his trucking career he was able to travel to every state in the continental United States. Terri was united in marriage to Christina Becker on February 1, 1996. The couple settled near Kiron, Iowa, and were blessed with three children. His hobby of collecting toy semi-trucks occupied much of his interests. Life with his family occupied most of Terri's leisure time as he enjoyed his children, playing with his dogs and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and son who devoted his life to his family. Terri pased away unexpectedly on June 11, 2011 at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison at the age of 38 years, 3 months and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his brother Seth Lyn and his grandmother Pearl Dammann. Terri is survived by his wife Christina of Kiron; daughter Taylor Jean; sons Seth Lyn and A.J. "Anthony", all at home; mother Carol Parrish and husband Dick of Sioux City, Iowa; grandfather LeRoy "Tater" Dammann of Manning; parents-in-law Dan Becker of Charter Oak and Deb and Phillip Huisenga of Ute, Iowa; stepsisters Deb Peck and husband Charlie of Calumet,Iowa and Jodie Vanbrak and husband Dick of Hinton, Iowa; stepbrothers Jim Parrish and wife Jean and Jeff Parrish and wife Tracy, all of Sioux City; uncle Leonard Dammann of Manning; other relatives and many friends.
