Scott Rose

Scott Dale, son of Carroll and Wilma (White) Rose, was born October 18, 1957 at Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center, Iowa.  He grew up in Bayard, Iowa and graduated from Bayard High School in 1976.

    Scott worked for Garst and Thomas Seed for several years.  He also worked for Pella Windows in Carroll and the Bayard Lumberyard.

    He enjoyed fishing, coaching little league baseball and playing cards, especially Euchre.  Scott was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Iowa State Cyclones fan. 

    Scott’s health has been declining for several years.  He died at Guthrie County Hospital on February 25, 2016 at the age of 58 years, 4 months and 7 days.

    Preceding him in death are his parents.

    Scott is survived by his brothers Stephen Rose (Linda Culbertson) of Bayard, Mark Rose of Perry and Kirk Rose of Bayard; nieces and nephews Stacy (Tim) Wegman of Clive, Amy (Heath) Coenen of Urbandale, Kimberly (Lem) Darr of Perry, Jill (Michael) Borgeson of Rippey, Kyler (Sara) South of Coon Rapids, Jim Rose of Norwalk and Cassandra Rose of Cameroon Territory, Africa; other relatives and friends.
