Ronald Lynn, son of Victor Ingverd and Freda Viola (Ingerslev) Andersen, was born November 4, 1940, on a farm in Sharon Township, Audubon County, Iowa. He was baptized at Bethany Lutheran Church.
Shortly after his birth, Ronnie suffered a serious illness that left him unable to care for himself. He lived at home on the farm with his parents and later moved with them to Kimballton. He was given loving care by his parents and experienced a life of enjoyment filled with family, neighbors and friends. At the age of 31 years he moved into Salem Lutheran Home where he was given the same loving care he had experienced at home.
Ronnies health deteriorated rapidly after he entered Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, Iowa, on Sunday, November 25, 2007. He died there early Tuesday, November 27, 2007, surrounded by the love of his brother and sister-in-law. Ronnie was 67 years and 23 days of age.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Ronnie is survived by his brother Eddie L. Andersen and his wife Arlene of Rochester, Minnesota; niece Rochelle and her husband Regan Cox and their daughters Cassandra and Delaney of Burnsville, Minnesota; aunt Betty Ingerslev of Elk Horn and many friends at Salem Lutheran Home.
