Myron John Klocke

 

Myron John Klocke, son of John Joseph Klocke and Mary Bald, was born October 17, 1921 in Carroll, Iowa.

Myron was married to Betty Margaret Goetzinger on November 9, 1946 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Omaha, Nebraska.  He served in the Army Air Corps from August 11, 1942 to January 4, 1946 as a sergeant Armory Gunner.  Following service he worked for Heider Manufacturing in Carroll until retiring.  He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll and of Maurice Dunn Post #7 of the Carroll American Legion.  He enjoyed photography, fishing and watching wrestling.

Preceding Myron in death are his parents; a brother Virgil; sisters Betty Jean Weitl and Mary Lou Sieve; and a granddaughter Jodie Klocke.

            He is survived by his wife Betty of Carroll; sons Dick  Klocke and wife Betty of Marshallton, Iowa, Gary Klocke and wife Janis of Carroll, Dennis Klocke and wife Lori of Plainfield, Iowa; daughter Cindy Klocke and husband Dale Schechinger of Lake View, Iowa; sister Sandra Kanne of Carroll; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
