   Matt was interested in John Deere tractors and was a football and baseball fan, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.  He had an extensive baseball card collection.  Matt loved to eat pizza and to tease and laugh with his family and friends.

   Following a short bout of pneumonia, Matt died on Monday, August 6, 2007, at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center in Manning, Iowa.  He was 47 years and 11 days old.

   Preceding Matt in death are his grandparents: Ed and Bernice Kautzky and Herbert and Eleanor Bauer; brother-in-law Jim Foster; and sister-in-law Tammy Kautzky.

   Matt is survived by his parents Ed and Doris Kautzky of Audubon; eight siblings: Dave Kautzky and wife Sharon of Bouton; Joan Foster of Ankeny; Bill Kautzky and wife Valerie of West Des Moines; Tom Kautzky and friend Peggy of Princeville, IL; Ed Kautzky of Coon Rapids; Joe Kautzky and wife Sandy of Templeton; Jim Kautzky and wife Darsi of Perry; and Kathi and husband Alfredo Rodriguez of Fallbrook, CA; 27 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and "nephews, other relatives and friends.
