Marjorie Mae Testroet

Marjorie Mae, daughter of Elroy E. and Clara E. (Urban) Ranniger, was born September 12, 1943 in Carroll, Iowa. She lived with her family in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 1961. Marj worked at the West Central Co-op in Ralston from 1967 to 1984. She graduated from Iowa State University in 1992 and was self-employed as a computer programmer while attending college. She began her work with Carroll County Home Care Aide Service as office manager. Marj was blessed with a son Keith Testroet. She enjoyed visiting him when he moved to Arizona. She also enjoyed nature walking around Swan Lake and attending her stitching groups. Marj was a member of Holy Spirit Parish and the Ladies Guild. She was also a volunteer for St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary. Marj was a cancer survivor and kept a very positive attitude for a number of years. She was planning to go to work the morning that she died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was 69 years, 4 months, and 24 days of age. Preceding Marj in death are her parents and a brother Roger Ranniger. She is survived by her son Keith Testroet of Youngtown, AZ; two nephews Grant Ranniger and Travis Ranniger and other relatives and friends.
