    Lucille Margaret, daughter of Matt and Caroline (Kohorst) Friedman was born on June 23, 1914 in Roselle, Iowa. She attended Holy Angels School in Roselle an then St. Angelas Academy in Carroll. She then began working for the family store in Roselle.    On October 30, 1934 Lucille was united in marriage with Louis Riesberg at Holy Angels Church in Roselle. The couple made their home in Halbur and were the parents of four children. Lucille worked as a homemaker and in her spare time she enjoyed needlework and playing cards. She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Halbur, the Ladies Guild and the Catholic Daughters of America.     After the death of her husband in 1991, Lucille remained in her home in Halbur and began spending her winters in Arizona. In 2005 she became a resident of the Carroll Health Center Nursing Home. She died there on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the age of 95 years, 2 months and 29 days.      She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Kenny Riesberg; daughter Janice Sherlock; sisters Lorraine Carroll and Edna Mae Friedman; brother Gilbert Friedman; brothers-in-law: Paul and wife Delores Riesberg and Earl Morhain; and sister-in-law: Anna Lou Friedman.          Lucille is survived by her daughters Connie Siepker and Judy Joyner both of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Norma Jean Morhain of California; brothers Raymond Friedman of Carroll and Melvin Friedman of New York; brothers and sisters-in-law: Al and Marie Lieteig of Wesley, IA and Dennis and Marion Riesberg of Arizona; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
