Lloyd Estel Middleton

Lloyd Estel, son of Estel and Doris (Searl) Middleton was born July 29, 1944 at Jefferson, Iowa. He attended Yale Jamaica Bagley (YJB) High School and graduated in 1962. On May 4, 1970 Lloyd and Darlene (Billmeier) were united in marriage in Elk Point, South Dakota. Lloyd worked as a bodyman and painter at Crouse Cartage Co. in Carroll for 18 ½ years until 2001. He also owned and operated Lloyd's Repair and Middleton Auto car dealership in Templeton until retirement. Lloyd loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed to chit chat, driving around Templeton on his golf cart and going to gun shows and auctions. Lloyd died Tuesday October 27, 2015 at the Manning Regional Health Care Center, Manning, Iowa at the age of 71 years. Preceding him in death are his parents Estel and Doris Middleton; parents-in-law Otto and Francis Billmeier; and brother-in-law Raymond Billmeier. Lloyd is survived by his wife Darlene Middleton, of 45 years, of Templeton, IA; children Michelle (Clyde) Weitl of Templeton, IA, Larry Middleton and fiancé Belinda of Urbandale, IA, Lynda (Keith) Schirck of Carroll, IA, Shari (Mark) Kitt of Dedham, IA and Ryan (Jenni) Middleton of Carroll, IA; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother Raymond (Joyce) Middleton of Bagley, IA; sisters-in-law Dorothy Bendixen and Linda Billmeier; brother-in-law Lou (Terri) Billmeier and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A private family service for Lloyd will be at Moffit Grove Cemetery in Guthrie County at a later date.
