Lisa Greve

Lisa Ann, daughter of John Erue and Marlene (Zuber) Erue Monaghan and stepfather Paul Monaghan, was born February 5, 1961, at Marengo, Iowa. She lived in Marengo and North English and graduated from English Valleys High School. On December 3, 1982, Lisa was united in marriage with Duane Greve at Atlantic, Iowa. In addition to being a busy homemaker and mother, Lisa worked outside the home at the Danish Inn and grocery store in Elk Horn, among other jobs. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening, however her real joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Lisa was involved in the town of Kimballton's events committee through the years. Lisa fought a battle with cancer nine years ago and was once again diagnosed with cancer in December of 2011. She died at home in Kimballton, Iowa, on Sunday morning, September 23, 2012. Lisa was 51 years, 7 months and 18 days of age. She is preceded in death by her parents and stepfather; sister Connie Jo Erue; and granddaughters Paige Greve and Destiny Greve. Lisa is survived by her husband Duane Greve, Kimballton; children: Christopher Gorsh (Jen), Harper; Zachary Gorsh (Teri), North English; Victoria Hansen (Kurt), Walnut; Spencer Greve, Jacksonville; Heath Greve (Amanda), Omaha, NE; and Annie Inman (Joey), Exira; stepson Tony Greve, Rock Springs, WY; grandchildren: Jake, Austin and Caden Gorsh; Anna, Ean, Riley and Justice Gorsh; Olivia Greve; Kerry Greve; and Jordan Householder; sisters: Mary Kay Harris (Terry), Lisbon, and Pam Willey (Jeff), Colorado Springs, CO; sisters-in-law: Colleen Lange (Russ), Atlantic, and Carla Greve, Atlantic; other relatives and friends.
