Larry Fowler

September 26, 1957 — December 5, 2011

Larry Lee Fowler, son of Harold and Irene M. (Kasperbauer) Fowler was born on September 26, 1957 at the Naval Hospital in Key West, Florida. Larry grew up in Carroll and graduated from Carroll High School in 1976. He then attended basic training in the United States Army and was honorably discharged afterwards for medical reasons. On June 2, 1986, Larry was united in marriage with Pamela Paul in Fort Dodge. They lived in Fort Dodge until 1990. Larry then returned to Carroll where he worked several jobs in the area. He enjoyed watching football and visiting with family and friends. After a short illness Larry entered Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where he died on December 5, 2011 at the age of 54 years 2 months and 9 days. Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents: Anna and Fred Kasperbauer, Gertrude Lampart and Elvin Fowler. He is survived by his sons: David Paul and Michael Fowler both of Fort Dodge; and Shawn Harold Warnke of Lake View; parents: Harold and Irene Fowler of Carroll; sisters: Ruth and husband Kevin Dillavou of Carroll and Kelly and husband Bill Vaughn of Nashua; nieces and nephews: Troy Dillavou, Eric Dillavou and Amy Dillavou; great niece and nephew: Elizabeth Stacey and Kasey Lau; other relatives and friends.
