Judy Arlene, daughter of Maurice Ray and Leota Marie (Sondgeroth) Grossman was born on November 1, 1946 in Carroll, Iowa. She attended school at St. Josephs in Dedham then began working on the farm and helping her mother.
In 1983 the family moved to Carroll. In 1997 she began working for Employment Resources in Carroll. Judy had a passion for playing BINGO and also enjoyed volunteering with meals on wheels and at St. Anthony Nursing Home. She loved every opportunity to socialize and spending time with her niece and nephews. Judy was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Dedham American Legion Auxiliary.
On July 19, 2009 Judy passed away at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll from complications from a stroke. She was 62 years, 8 months and 18 days of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy is survived by her brother David Grossman and wife Amy of Dedham; nephews: Nick Grossman and fiance Melissa Lanphere, Jeff Grossman, Luke Olson and Tyler Grossman; a niece Rachel Grossman; other relatives and many friends.
