Glen Christopher Joens passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born October 10, 1965 at the Gladney Home, Fort Worth, Texas. He was adopted by Arthur and Eugenia (Smith) Joens in Houston, Texas within days of his birth. When Glen was 9 years old, they moved to Manilla, Iowa, where he spent his boyhood years and graduated from high school. He was a friendly, lovable, fun, passionate man, and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Glen is survived by his father Arthur Joens and stepmother Peggy of Manilla; sister Kathy Joens of Kingsley; brother Alan Joens and wife Melissa Of Sioux City; Nephews and Nieces: Philip, Kevin, Rachel Joens; Amber Perry and her family and Loretta Arnold of Loveland, CO; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eugenia Joens.
