Gina Marie, daughter of Cyril John and Glenna (Gettler) Heiderscheit, was born August 22, 1967, at Carroll, Iowa . She grew up in Coon Rapids, one of ten Heiderscheit children and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1986. She then earned her business degree from Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny.
Gina moved to Georgia near one of her brothers, Kim, and did office work for a steel company. Then she moved to North Carolina where her brother Jeff lived.
In December of 1991 Gina was united in marriage with Alan Hampton Gallimore. They made their home in Winston-Salem. Gina worked at Forseyth Medical Center. She enjoyed working in her yard and on her many craft projects. Gina faithfully walked her three dogs every day.
Even though she had no children on her own, Gina loved children, especially her nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Heavenview Tabernacle and volunteered many hours there as well as for organizations concerned with childrens welfare.
Gina died unexpectedly and tragically on Thursday, November 8, 2007, at her home in Winston-Salem, Davidson County, North Carolina, at the age of 40 years, 2 months and 17 days.
