Earl Henry, son of John and Johanna (Muhlbauer) Singsank, was born July 15, 1926, on a farm south of Halbur, Iowa. He grew up near Templeton and attended country school. Earl then farmed with his father and other neighbors.
On February 15, 1947, Earl was united in marriage with D. Jean Stuhr at Sacred Heart Church in Manning. Two daughters were born to this union. Earl first worked at Priebe and Sons, and then at the Manning Mill, which later became the Manning Ag Center from which he retired.
Earl enjoyed woodworking and working on the lawn. Throughout the years, he enjoyed square dancing and playing cards. He had an extensive keychain collection.
In September of 2019, Earl became a resident of Accura Healthcare of Manning where he passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at the age of 93 years.
Earl is survived by his wife Jean Singsank of Manning; daughters Gay Vogl and husband Ronald of Manning and Dawn Irlbeck and husband Thomas of Aspinwall; Grandchildren: Tammy (Ivan) Martin of Urbandale; Jason Vogl of Manning; Lisa (Robin) Borkowski of Manning; Scot Irlbeck of Carroll; Jill (Nick) Toft of Royal; Great Grandchildren: Amanda Lasher, Kate Lynn Irlbeck, Kerrigan Irlbeck, Dylan Irlbeck, and Maggie Toft; sisters Laurel (Earl) Vogl of Carroll and Cleo (Gary) Hansen of Olathe, Kansas; sister-in-law Connie Singsank of Manning; a brother-in-law Merlin Hass of Manning; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Glenn Singsank; sisters Verna Hass and Margaret (Russell) Popp Ardella (Don) Berg; Sisters-in-law: Esther (Lyle) Anthony and Eileen (Edward) Hinz; and Jean’s parents Ed and Gertrude Stuhr.
