Bonnie J Wailes

Bonnie J. Wailes was born April 23, 1944 to the late Lionel and Lucille (Hupp) Hill in Carroll, Iowa.

On August 5, 1961, Bonnie was united in marriage to Carl Pettry. To this union, they were blessed with two sons: Danny and Carl. They made their home in Coon Rapids where Bonnie has continued to live her whole life.

Bonnie worked for Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids for 18 years and she also mowed the cemeteries around the Coon Rapids area. She was an avid reader and she especially enjoyed her romance and western novels. She loved her dog, cats and family more than anything. Bonnie had the kindest soul and will always be remembered by her contagious smile.

Bonnie passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital attaining the age of seventy-seven years, two months and twenty days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Pettry; son: Danny Pettry; brother: Ron Hill.

Left to cherish her memory, her son: Carl Pettry of Coon Rapids; sister: Ruth Williams of Des Moines; half-siblings: Julie, Milena and Bud; other relatives and friends.
