Beth Elaine, daughter of Vivian and Caldona (Miller) Bell, was born October 22, 1927 in Carroll County, Iowa. She lived with her family on a farm and attended rural schools near her home.  After completing her schooling, Beth remained at home and as the years passed she cared for both of her parents. She also sorted corn in the fall for Garst and Thomas Seed Corn Company.

Beth was a member of the Jehovahs Witness congregation in Coon Rapids and Guthrie Center. Beth was always prompt and expected others to be on time.

When she was no longer able to remain in her home in Coon Rapids, Beth became a resident of the Bayard Care Center in Bayard. When that facility closed, she moved to Panora Nursing and Rehab in Panora.  Beth was diagnosed with severe liver cancer in June of 2009. Her health continued to fail and she died there on July 29, 2009 at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 7 days.

Preceding Beth in death are her parents; two sisters Helen Bell as a young woman and Leora English in 2006.

She is survived by her niece Christina (Vicki) and husband Tim Wieland of Warrensburg, MO; brother-in-law Robert English of Warrensburg, MO; great-nephew Ethan Wieland of Warrensburg, MO; two first cousins who looked after her over the years, Virginia and husband Ronald Mingus and Shirley and husband Gerald Hackmeister, both of Coon Rapids; other relatives and friends.
