Albert Sidney Holloway, Jr., son of Albert Sidney Sr. and Mary (Ferdig) Holloway, was born March 5, 1954, in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Woodbury County where he began to do tree work with his father. The family then made their home in Taylor County.
On October 19, 1972, Albert and Kathryn were united in marriage at Grant City, Missouri. A son Scotty was born to this couple. Albert continued to do tree work and lived throughout Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa, eventually settling in Manning. Later, Albert drove a semitruck. Albert enjoyed going to the casino, loving his grandchildren and spending time with them.
Albert passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He was 69 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Joe Holloway, Art Holloway, Ralph Holloway, John Holloway, and (infant brother) Virgil Holloway; niece Rebecca Whittley; and in-laws: Fred Kawik, Floyd Collins and Etta Poage.
Albert is survived by his wife Kathryn Holloway of Manning, Iowa: son Scotty (Brandy) Holloway of Manning, Iowa: five grandchildren: Heaven Holloway, Albert Holloway III, Madison Westerberg, Kenzie Westerberg and Brian Bowen; two great-grandchildren Braxton Schulte and Scotty Holloway II; siblings: Marie (Glen) Vestal of Manning, Iowa; Viola Welch of Independence, Kansas; Lily Buck of Manning, Iowa; Richard (Nancy) Frederickson of Sioux City, Iowa; Irvin (Dennice) Holloway of Carroll, Iowa; Virgil (Reva) Holloway of Nixa, Missouri; sister-in-law Peggy Holloway of Atlantic, Iowa; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, Iowa with Reverend Darrel Mohler, Officiating.

Casket Bearers were Shawn Holloway, Larry Wilkerson, Wayne Broad, Bill Schumacher, Daniel Dinkle and Art Holloway.
Honorary Bearers were Micheal Kawik, Davin Holloway and Dalton Schumacher.
Burial was at Delano Cemetery, Cameron, Missouri.
